You can make them as out of stock items and keep it till the next time you want to list back again.
Go to https://www.ebay.com/uas/selling-pref
Then find - Multi-quantity listings
Under that activate - Listings stay active when you're out of stock.
Go to your listings and make the quantity as 0 in the items that you want to take out. Those items will be then shown as "out of stock" items.

The reason she doesn't want to keep them listed is she doesn't want them to use up her free listings. Even if she has them as out of stock those listings will count every month as using one of her available listings so it doesn't really solve her problem.

You beat me to the draw as I was thinking the same.
@2ndtimearound_2 @Ending the listings is the only way to not have them count against your totals.
Note that ended listings vanish after 90 days if not relisted.

I do a "sell similar", and save it as a "draft" for items that I want to take down for a while. The "drafts" have to be refreshed periodically. I try not to let them get older than 60 days.
OOS is another way, but they take one of your allotted listings (or charge a fee if no allotment) each month upon renewal, and a "0" quantity OOS listing will , as of the last that I knew, be deleted by eBay in 6 months.

As long you have the stocks back. ^^ Happy to help.

Refreshing every 30 days would be best. Do it the same time each month to remember. Just open the saved draft, and then save it again.
