Hi, have had a Shopify account for over a year now, and apart from a few fixable hiccups, have not had any problems with it. Today I am unable to link from the eBay app on Shopify, to eBay itself. "Access denied" messages. Have tried several browsers, nothing seems to work.
Has anyone else had this problem, or found a workaround?
Is it connected somehow to the new payment process eBay has imposed?

Since the app that links to eBay is provided by shopify, you may need to ask on their forum. Is it possible your token has expired? You might try relinking to eBay to refresh the token.

I'd say it's more likely something ebay has changed as it's also affecting connecting Bonanza and UPS Marketplace.

Tokens from Auctiva and Inkfrog are also not showing up on Ebay 3rd party authorizations even though they do on Auctiva and Inkfrog.
This is becoming a real pain

I have an open ticket with Ebay after 2 phone calls and no one bothers to call me back.
No surprise as MP is more important than the site falling apart more and more every day.

I would first follow the instructions that Jacob provided to eliminate eBay site tokens and clear cache and cookies. It is sometimes amazing how a clean slate can help with the strangest issues.

When I started reading these posts a week ago, I set a token for my own software, and it correctly displays on my account page. However, the difference is that I started from eBay's captive token-setting page for developers, rather than building my own token setter through eBay's API. Therefore, I would have to concede that something could have changed in the token setting API that service providers use. As a small-time-player, I don't have access to the API team to get verification.
If the problem only occurs on new tokens, it is possible that not enough members have created or reauthorized their tokens to make this noticeable to the service providers.
