My account was hacked. They used my saved account to buy an "item" from their "store". I was charged over $800 twice. E-bay was able to flag the second purchase as fraud. The hacker then deleted their store and their account and ran off with my money. E-bay is now unwilling to work with me to get my money back. They sent letters to my bank telling them the charges weren't fraudulent and provided faulty evidence like fake proof of delivery slips in order to close my fraud case. ( I have copies of everything they sent the bank( When I called e-bay to ask why they closed the case, they said it was still in investigation and they don't know why my bank would close the case and take back the money they were lending me until the investigation was over. ($899 that I needed to use for rent and bills; now gone) So far E-bay has been incredible unhelpful in helping me getting my money back; so I'm wondering why is a million dollar corporation giving me the run around and stiffing me (a person who needs to pay rent) $899.
