File Exchange error 21916619|21919420, is this temporary

Hello,

Everyday I upload a file through file exchange to update my inventory quantities.  It has worked fine up until yesterday.  Yesterday and today it would not work.  Is this just a temporary problem, or have they changed file exchange so now my template will permanently not work?

The 21916619 error is a variations error about the quantity...

21916616 Serious Error

Short error: Invalid category change.

Long error: Item listed in non variations category may not be revised to variations enabled category.

Look (open) the csv file with Notepad. Do you see and small black squares? Delete them! Those are probably linefeed characters. They will make FileExchange think you are trying to define a variations set.

The 21919420 has not been defined yet. So this is a new error, that the documentation has not been updated with the message. It may be related to the above. Get rid of the 'small black squares' and try again.

Now the above may not be correct. Those funny FileExchange folks may be making changes without letting us know.

As mentioned by @dollybeauty, some error codes has not be documented. The best thing to do when you see an error code in your downloaded "Result" file is to read the message next to the Error code, Error Message. This actually tells you why there is an error code. Another thing to look for is the information under the "Status" column. Our system will return these values: Success, Error, and Warning.

Success - The information was process successfully.

Error - There are error in the value that was provided or missing information that requires the file to be adjusted with correct values.

Warning - This is an informational message that informs you of listing details that needs changing or account alerts. This message doesn't usually require any adjustments. The listing was process with Warning messages. This message is asking you to be aware of what's going on with either your listings, account, or site.

To your specific message, it would be a warning message that is generic for variation details. 

"Warning - Item level quantity will be ignored. The sum of the quantities for all the variations will be used for the listing quantity.||Warning - For multiple-variation listings, GTIN values are specified at the variation level. Please remove the GTIN value from the listing level and provide a GTIN value for each variation within the listing.|For multiple-variation listings, GTIN values are specified at the variation level.|For multiple-variation listings, GTIN values are specified at the variation level. Please remove the GTIN value from the listing level and provide a GTIN value for each variation within the listing.|UPC|

As mentioned early. Please view the ErrorMessage header for more details of the ErrorCode.
