Please post your request for an increase to your File Exchange daily limit here. Please understand that by default the daily limit is set at 5k actions per day. We are happy to review your account for an increase if you would like to request it. We will review the request and reply here once we are able to increase your limit.

Due to account privacy, we will not state your actual File Exchange daily limit when we reply to your request. If you would like to know what your current limit was set to, you can email to turbodata@ebay.com.

I see @cyberspacecomics ,

I definitely thought you were referring to your upload limit. Unfortunately though, we cannot increase the file size limit of 15 MB. Our servers probably couldn't handle it and that was a limit set by our File Exchange developers for good and safe reasons.

For now, you will just want to break up your files to keep it under 15MB.

Jacob, that limit was set many years ago (at least 5, now). Surely, computing power has increased in those five years to a point where the limit can be increased.

In my perspective, and I hope this helps, emails have been around since the 1970's and you still can't send more than 10 MB in your (standard) email and that number has been that way for a very long time.

15 MB is what fits best for the File Exchange servers and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Soooooooooooo .... you're comparing the limitations of an email service provided free of charge to that of a mega-corporation whose goal (or, at least one of them) is to maximize profits through efficiency?

I have to break up my database into multiple listing files to add all of my new inventory each month because of the file size limit. To compare, when I list the same info to Amazon, I can submit just one upload. I guess Amazon didn't get the memo about email file size limitations being kept the same since the 1970s.

Hello, We would like to request an increase in our daily file exchange limit to ideally 150,000 or as much as you can give me. I currently have over 130,000 listings and I would like to be able to edit my entire store.

Hi Jacob,

Thank you for your hard work during these difficult times. We had called eBay customer service line earlier to have our FE limit increased but was greeted with a message stating that live support will be currently unavailable. When you get the chance, please increase our FE limit to 50,000 actions per day. We are working to increase our number of listings and that would help us greatly.
