Hi,
Since I got the email that Turbo Lister will no longer be supported, I a trying to figure out File Exchange.
I uploaded a file, and tried downloading it from File Exchange to open it, and all it does it opens up in a Notepad file! I watched some videos online and I know it should be open with something else, but I do not know what? Ebay does not offer an option to download the program like Turbo Lister was.. but just to sign up for it.
Please help!

I assume you are trying to download your own upload on this screen, where it says, "Download (Compressed)".
Those are two options: normal "Download" and "Compressed" download.
The "Download" will arrive in the same format as your upload. So if you uploaded a comma-delimited CSV, the download will also be a comma-delimited CSV. If you uploaded a tab-delimited CSV, you'll download a tab-delimited CSV.
The program used to open a file can be set in your browser and in your computer file associations. Since you are running Turbo Lister, you are using a Windows Computer.

If you don't have Excel or Microsoft's MyOffice installed on your computer, there should be other open-source programs that perform the same spreadsheet functions, like OpenOffice and LibreOffice and
When you upload a CSV to File Exchange, a response file will be returned with error messages. That is the "Download" at the far right of this screenshot:
Turbo Lister will export a CSV file, but it may not be compatible with File Exchange. However, it may be a good starting point. Do you have an export CSV you could share? I'm working on a tool to help newbies convert to File Exchange and would like some raw data to work with.
