E-commerce Store Integration - 3rd Party Application Access Denied?

Hi,

 

Just wondering if anyone has experience with 3rd party applications here?

 

Our e-commerce platform provides an integration so you list manually from within your e-commerce store and recieve orders etc. It has worked perfectly for months, however in the last 48 hours it seems to have stopped working. The strange thing is the integration is in our 3rd party applications within our eBay account, yet our e-commerce platform is receiving a 'Access Denied' message from eBay. Our ecommerce support have stated their application accepts whatever call back eBay sends them, so at a loss as to how the application can appear in our 3rd party applications as active (not revoked), yet be denied from within our e-commerce platform??

 

Any ideas or help from eBay technical would be appreciated.

Since this is probably directly related to eBay's APIs, you (or your developers) need to discuss this with eBay. We here on the community forums have no way to look at your application, nor see what is going on with it.

 

This is from the eBay Advanced Apps team...

Phone Support (US - 8 AM - 6 PM MST): **To call us, click on the Help & Contact link found at the top of most eBay pages. Click on the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page. Select ‘Selling’ -> ‘Getting Started’ -> ‘Selling Tools’ for issues or concerns related to eBay listing tools that my team can assist you with. Now scroll to the bottom and click Call Us. Ask the customer support agent to transfer you to the Advanced Apps team.**

 

 

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. Hi,

Thank you for your help. Spoke with the Advanced Apps team and whilst they we're not able to assist directly they provided enough evidence to go back to our e-commerce platform and ask their support to investigate further. 4 hours later and our integration was back again! 🙂
