I have tried for days to get an eBay agent on the phone. I have been down the same rabbit holes several times. Still cannot resolve my problem. I give up. No one online or within eBay can help. I got through once and they were calling me back and they did not. Sat for an hour waiting no call. I just gave up and waiting for my listings to expire. Once the left Papal, the service is hell.

^^^ Are you sure about that? Have you tried to reach out through facebook? It's the best and I'd recommend it.

I'm going to speculate that you haven't sold in some time, and now you have discovered that you can't get paid until providing a checking account and a whole slew of federally required personal data. This is the same data that we had to give to PayPal a few years ago to continue banking with them. Since PayPal split from eBay, eBay had to set up their own payment processor. Thus, we must submit this anew, and then some, because of new laws that were recently enacted.
At this point, the Managed Payment issues are that the seller is unable to successfully link a checking account, or that there is a mismatch between the way the seller name is titled on bank, social security, and eBay.
I've been up against many impediments myself while getting my various accounts converted to Managed Payments.

There are a lot of situations here where there's no reason to actually speak with a CS rep.

Facebook is unresponsive. I have contacted them with no help. I am beginning to believe there is something else going on. I called eBay to be called back in 12 minutes. There were hours left in their workday. After the twelve minutes I waited an hour and I was not called.
I have 100% on eBay over 20+ years and I am treated terribly. Maybe eBay has gone Woke and I am on the receiving end.

Apparently the OP doesn't want our help. Several of us have asked. I'm moving on. You can't help those who refuse to accept it.

Processing a refund to a buyer can be tricky. If funds are not available I have read where eBay requires another form of payment to be attached to the account so that the refund can process.
It is a big pain. Yes, PP process was easier. They would snatch that money back in a heartbeat, with no issues.

I have had other sales go through this month, this one I was paid for and my account has money in it. Ebay will eventually have to resolve this issue. The funds are there and I have exhausted my efforts to help solve the issue. Most of my auctions expired today and I will not resist. Too much hassle now. My Buy it now’s are relished with hundreds of dollars added so I do not get trapped again.
