I manage a storefront with a few thousand listings. I need to change the prices of all of our t-shirts - (including each of the seven size variations, which all have a different price from the base) - to a higher price.
On the "modify existing listing" spreadsheet, there is no option to sort by Category or other item tags that would allow me to only modify t-shirts. I cannot simply "CTRL+H" replace the old prices with the new ones, as this will modify other non-t-shirt items that have the same price. I cannot filter out Titles that contain "t-shirt," because I lose all of the variations that also need to be modified (since they do not have a Title on the spreadsheet).
Is there any way to download a spreadsheet that contains the category of each of the listings? Or is there a simpler way to make a sweeping price change for a specific item type such as this?

Generally, I look to the "price and quantity" template in Seller Hub > Reports > Uploads for most revisions, but you would get all of your listings, in all categories, and not just those with variations.
I think this tool might make it easier to pull in your items by category, and only the variation listings:

Enter your username, country site, and pick an eBay category (not a store category) or use search keywords to limit your returned results. The tool will only pull in listings that are variations. If you need to revise single-item listings, there is more to consider.

The tool was developed to help sellers rename their variations, but it also produces a "report only" spreadsheet that you can paste into, or open with, a spreadsheet tool. Delete any spreadsheet columns that you do not want to modify, but maintain the columns marked with an asterisk above.
Also make sure that the item number is a number, not exponential notation, before saving your spreadsheet.
After changing your prices in the spreadsheet, save as CSV and upload to Seller Hub > Reports > Uploads.

Thank you, that tool is super helpful and I think I can modify it to suit my needs here.
