Cannot enter flat shipping cost override in new listing tool

I basically can't list items now. I use shipping rules and frequently use flat cost overrides and this appears to be broken in the new listing tool. Attempting to enter one just gives and endless waiting period on the save and close page. 

Come on ebay, I pay you thousands of dollars a month and now I can't list. I don't want this tool.

Just wanted to update that 24 hours later I still cannot use flat cost overrides.  I have thousands of dollars in inventory waiting to list that I cannot list.

Just agreeing  that the apparent loss of the override function is a PITA.  I would  use it often rather  than add 5 thousand  more shipping "rules"

Since this new tool is stripped down version of what we are all used to and need- I have no doubt that the function you want is missing... I have never used a flat rate over-ride though... what is that function, i am curious.  is it tied to templates? I list unique items and everyone is completely different from the last so maybe this type of automation would not apply to my style but I I do like to know what s available(or in this case missing now)

For  just one example....already in my  rate tables is, say $4.95 First Class flat rate to all.

But in  this particular instance, I had to buy the box (remember, this is just an example, rather than mess with   the Handling Charge, or add another line to the already lengthy Shipping Policy....... it is...well, it WAS....easier just to over ride  the $4.95 ad change it to $5.95

Gotcha- I add shipping based on a per listing method since i may list a vintage post card one minute and an industrial 3 phase motor that weighs 100lbs the next minute. I like variety so it keeps listing interesting... but obviously not as efficient- thanks for explaining your method

I use an auto combining flat rate for all my first class items, it doesn't actually charge for extra items, but I like to adjust the price upwards for heavy items. 95 percent of my customers for this stuff buy 1 item or buy several essentially weightless items, so I don't mind eating the upgrade for the rare customer who actually buys enough to force priority.

I can edit it in after making the listing, but it still does not work when listing. It also goes away when using sell similar. This is tripling my listing times.

5 days later. Still can't override shipping rule costs in the new lister I was forced into.

Please fix this feature or put me back on the old tool until you fix it. 

Someone tag the ebay people in this. I don't know who they are.

That will get me there in the one listing at a time method, but sell similar off my existing items always goes to the new one.

12 days later, issue still persists. Please either fix this issue or return me to the old listing tool until it is fixed. I am having to revise most of my listings after creating them to fix shipping costs and it is doubling my listing time.

And OVER a month later the shipping cost override is STILL not working!!!  I really don't need this added stress right now since I just found out I have cancer.  PLEASE get this fixed.   devon@ebay

Not sure what is going on it why the tool keeps failing us sellers.... Problems seen to pop up and also constantly change from darker to sheet.... Yesterday, changed a listing from auction to buy it now and then when it listed... It was still an auction. Then trying to revise it made the listing tool freeze up and then again button was not clickable! After an hour of fooling around all of the sudden, it just worked. Frustrating for sure!
