Can't tell if a watched item has sold or just ended

It seems that I can't tell if an item on my watchlist has sold or not.  There used to be a banner that said "sold" if it sold or "ended" if it didn't.  What am I missing?

If a seller ended a listing there would be a banner across the top of the listing saying something like this The seller has ended the listing on Wed, Aug 23 at 4:56 AM by indicating this item is no longer available.

If the item was sold you would see it in the sold area with the price highlighted in green.

In your watch list I believe it would simply say “ended”
