Bulk Edit Selling Details

I had several Tobacco pipes for sale for a while. eBay took them down and explained why I cannot sell them here, so I removed all of them and everything related like herb grinder cards and anything that had leaf insignia. I sell a lot of other items as well. The issue that I am running into is this: When I was selling the tobacco pipes, I was listing all of my auctions as private, and that made it default. Now I use a bulk listing tool and because it was set to default, they are all private listings. I know that I cannot change the items that I already have sales recorded on. I have been changing the ones that I can change manually, one by one, and it is so tedious. I have tried using the bulk listing tool but the private listing option checkbox is under selling details. I've looked but I do not see selling details under the available edits in the bulk listing tool. Anyone know if there is a quick way to change this setting for all of my listings at once?

Re: Bulk Edit Selling Details

I'l add that the reason I do not want them to be private is because I think there is some promotional value in people being able to see what other people bought that they are happy about buying in their 5 star positive feedback.

Re: Bulk Edit Selling Details

Ever use FileExchange and any spreadsheet? This may do as you require.

Subscribe here (free) - http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/sellingresources/fileexchange.html

You would create a report of your active listings, modify the report in any spreadsheet, then upload the file to eBay's FileExchange processor, to modify your listings in bulk.

FileExchange does have a learning curve, but I can give you a step by step. If you want to make a go of it on your own, here are the FileExchange Instructions - http://pages.ebay.com/file_exchange/File_Exchange_Advanced_Instructions.pdf
