Just thought I'd see if anyone might be able to help me with taking pictures, which is taking way too much time. Currently I have a logitech webcam and am using the windows camera to take pics. My songbooks are 9 x 12 and no matter what I do, there is always extra background that I have to crop out. But I usually get frustrated and just grab my cell phone and take a nice hi-rez picture. That would be great, but then you have to goto google photos and download them all. And since I turn my camera landscape, I have to rotate the pictures..... this process creates great pictures but again, way too much time. I'm hoping there's some one out there that sells books and found a great solution. I've heard of auto-cropping tools but I think they're built into the higher end software like Adobe. Ok that's probably way too much but thanks for any input!

Hello,
I can not help with all of your concerns, but thought I could share that I only use my cell phone for photos. Once a draft is made, I go to my phone, open eBay app, select draft, and add pictures. Then on my desktop I open the draft and edit the pictures there. This would be one less step for you.
Hope this helps.

As long as your photos provide neutral, uncomplicated backgrounds, it probably isn't necessary to do all that additional cropping.
Most of the photos which I've taken during the past 2-1/2 years have been from an iPad, which I then transfer to my email account, and then download to eBay.
Since you are selling books (as am I), there probably is no need to overthink the photo process.
Good luck.
