Is it possible to add variations to existing listings which already have variations in them using file exchange?

It does not seem very clear in the Advanced Instructions (pages 30-31), but it does say that on the item row that the RelationshipDetails should contain all of the variation values.
So I would try to create a Revise file, that respecified all of the present relationship details, plus the new one, on the item (parent) line, and follow with the present variation (child) lines, plus the new variation.
FileExchange seems to ignore data that does not change, so an example might be,
The original Add record.
Action,Relationship,RelationshipDetails,(otherfields)
Add , ,Size=S ,(other item fields)
,Variation ,Size=S ,(other variation fields)
The Revise record might look like this (to add M size).
Action,ItemID ,Relationship,RelationshipDetails,(otherfields)
Revise,99999999999 , ,Size=S;M ,(other item fields)
, ,Variation ,Size=S ,(other variation fields)
, ,Variation ,Size=M ,(other variation fields)
@mypaymentstestDo I have that correct or can the revision file leave out the 'Size=S' variation line, and just specify the new variation?

@dollybeauty - Yes. You are correct.
You will need to provide all the variants that will be in the listing for it to add new ones. If you leave out the ones that are shown on the listing, you'll received an error like "Variation specifics doesn't match the variation on the item".
Please reference to page 33 in regards to "Modifying the RelationshipDetails and PicURL of a variation" to get more context on the process. This goes into how to delete a variation to add or replace an existing variation. Similar process, you have to provide all the variations in the listing that you want our system to work with.
Please let me know if you need any further clarification. Thank you for doing all the hard work.
Sincerely,
