2 Step Verification.
Please help me .!!! Apparently Ebay set up this verification process.
I have been a buyer & seller on ebay for 20+ yrs.
When I get on my PC & try to access ebay site a little cellphone icon pops up & it says Send notification code. I Never receive a code on my cell or an email.
I am Totally locked of my acct. How to correct this. PLEASE??

Any time you run into issues with security things like this @fehanson1227, you need to contact Customer Support so they can verify you're the account owner and go from there.

Are you only locked out on one device, or all devices?
On this account or a different account?
Are you following this path with the locked-out account?
Below, I see a different screen than what is shown above.
I don't have a device that can text. My registered account page correctly shows that I have a landline and correctly shows my email. How could this have been applied to several of my eBay accounts and how might I get back to the email option (as is still the case on the rest of my accounts), or the phone call option that existed previously?

Hi @shipscript! Just to clarify, the 2FA is different. If a member has that set up and contact info changes then they have to work with Customer Support to get that removed, the contact info updated, and then the 2FA can be reset by the member if they want to turn it back on.
I'm not aware of a way to revert that option. I can get a ticket filed for you to see what the tech team says. If you're still only seeing the text option, will you follow-up with the URL? Is it only happening on your shipscript account? If you prefer to email that info to us, you're welcome to do that as well.

Hello- I have been meaning to get back to you forever. Thank you for the info.
Actually, I had tried all of the above on my PC. Ebay said they would send me a text on my cell but i never received anything. Not once. It also never stated they would send me an email with code. As a matter of fact when I would click on 'Help with Signing in' on my PC an error page would constantlt come. This happened for almost 3 months!
just the other day I clicked on Help Signing in' " on my PC and I saw Send email and i received it with code # and everything Finally worked out!
