it doesnt matter if they state no returns. if the item did not come in the condition stated in the listing then its the sellers responsibility. if they refuse, you need to contact ebay. if the item is broken or misrepresented in the listing then i would not leave feedback until you contact them. I pick the items i buy carefully, on occasion there are misses. i have had 5 misses from the sellers, but i was new and didnt know what i could do about it.
one instance a seller sold me a fake dvd set. it was a bootleg
two instances books condition was not disclosed properly
one instance where the seller either wanted more money for the item or just dropped off the face of the planet and i didnt get my item but ebay stepped in gave me a refund.
one instance a pre order game was not available that the seller tried to ask me if i would be ok if they marked the item as shipped when i said no, they never sent item they couldnt get and left me to deal with ebay to get refund. had to do chargeback because it was past 30 day buyer protection. fortunately had seller admit in message they didnt have item so won the chargeback.
point being, not all sellers are good, also not all sellers are bad,
in all cases i tried reaching out to the seller first. if they didnt offer me a solution i liked i contacted ebay after the few scams i had to deal with before. NEVER be worried if a seller puts no returns on their listing. it is their responsiblity that the item arrives to you and in the condition stated in the listing. if the listing description if vague, that is the sellers problem. they can try to blame you but its their problem.
as long as you are a reasonable buyer there should be no issues. the trick is finding the reasonable sellers.

It was too big. Sorry.. Anyway, I wrote the seller and she said it was properly advertised, so I was stuck basically. I was wanting to leave a neutral feedback , but dont want that to negatively affect my standing, so i haven't left anything yet. Thank you

Sorry, Im not good at this. The teeshirt was advertised as XL, but i was sure the photo represented a L.. Anyway it was too big for me. I wrote to the seller and she basically reminded me of her policy of no returns.

Buyer's can not get less than positive feedback. Was item the size stated in the listing? If so your error so why leave a neutral for your mistake?
If not file a not as described dispute thru buyer protection,if seller does not accept return after 4 days go in dispute and use "ask ebay to step in"link and ebay w send you a prepaid label and refund upon delivery to address in return details

Sellers don't have to accept a return for size when the item you received is the same size as how it was listed.
If you can't use it, resell it, give it to someone as a gift or donate it.

Can you please post a link to the listing or the item number so we can see if the photo and description matched?

Why does the seller deserve a less than positive rating.
You thought, by the photos, that it was a large although the seller described it as XL.
It arrives, it’s the size mentioned in the listing and the seller should get a neutral.
Please explain.
