send eBay an attachment

HELP!!!!
Ebay wants me to send them a copy of my shipping receipt, I have scanned but cannot attach the bill to their system.  Using a iMac with Sonoma 14.3.1

Not sure what type of file you are trying to attach to the message.

If the system won't accept the type of file you saved it as, try scanning and saving as a different file type.

Also check the size of the file to make sure you are within the acceptance parameters.

try to change the extension of file if is an image, .jpg .png etc

ok take and screenshoot and save the image with a classic extension of images

Had to call eBay as nothing worked, all turned into gibberish so they gave me an address to use.

First I have heard of eBay requesting a hard copy via snail mail.  How exactly did you get in touch with eBay?
