What happens if you return an item and it is large and held at the PO for pickup, the seller doesn't pick it up thinking when he does he has to refund ?

You can get your refund without the seller. Just go to your return and see when it says you can ask eBay to step in for your refund.

If it's returned, when tracking shows it was returned, you should get your refund soon.
Doesn't matter where it's delivered as long as tracking shows it was delivered.

The problem here is, if the seller never picks it up, it will never show as delivered. this is a $1200 return, I had trouble with this seller already, he didn't want to accept the return, but he had to due to the item being defective. I'm sure I'll get it worked out with ebay one way of another.

Until it's picked up by the seller it won't show returned !

From past post info on this subject here on the community boards:
If the seller paid for the return label through an eBay return, then eBay will refund you when the seller "fails" to pick up the item.
In fact, as I have come to understand , if the seller paid for the return label through an eBay return, and said label gets an acceptance scan then it's all on the seller.
May take a bit to happen.

I agree there shouldn't be a problem, it's sitting at the PO waiting for him to pick it up. if he doesn't in a day or two I'll contact ebay. thanks for the reply.
