I bought a baseball card, and eBay authenticated the card as genuine. But when I got
The card it was damaged and asked for a refund the same day. Seller has no returns but
eBay has a 3-day window on returns. I opened a case and eBay said no returns
So now I have a damaged card and out the $$ too

Did eBay say why they would not accept the return of a damaged card? Were you past the 3-day return period?

Before purchasing, check the seller’s return policy. If the seller doesn’t accept returns, the sale is considered final. If the seller has a timeframe for returns, you must open the return within that window. In the unlikely event that your card is damaged in transit, you can open a return request on a final sale card so long as you do so within three days of receiving the card.

Did you ask the seller for a return through a message or did you open a case? If you opened a case on the 13th and it closed in the seller's favor might you have opened a not received case instead of a not as described case? Contact eBay and appeal.

What reason did you choose for the return?

Wondering have you read the OP?
And wasn't it clear opened a case to return, because how do you return in a not received case?
