Today I received a box with a label generated by eBay/Pitney Bowes. Inside the box there were sealed air cushions and a stack of bathroom size paper cups, ten of them. There is no packing slip or note of any kind. The label has a return address and I googled the address and it seems to be a fake address. I have not ordered anything from any eBay seller in a couple of months, and I have not sold on eBay in close to three years. I don't know what to make of it, but it feels scammy and I don't know how to proceed. TIA for any suggestions.

Ignore it, but save the address label.

Sounds like your address is being used for the zipcode to show " delivered" on someone else's big- ticket purchase.
The seller has the buyers money.
That someone else is probably being forced to file an INR that they will lose, along with said money. Just my theory.
I've heard of people at businesses receiving envelopes with thank you cards, or other random knick- knacks. In those cases, again... Someone in the area is wondering why their $2000 item shows delivered but nothing showed.
