returned item not matching description to seller,on day of delivery it was forwarded

hi everyone i bought an item that was not matching description or photos,seller didnt want to refund so i had to wait some time to get a label,after the allotted time i didnt have to ask ebay to step in they just sent a return label,i used the label ebay provided and returned it,on day of delivery to the seller it updated to item is being forwarded on usps,it doesnt state where to.

i contacted ebay via facebook and they looked into it and said they do allow some time for delivery and that at some point i can ask them to step in.

on my return info it says refund available by may 30th. does that mean if it never gets marked as delivered i will have to wait until the 30th for my refund?

just wanted to see if anyone has had similar experience

If you used the label provided by Ebay, you'll get your refund if the item gets delivered or not.

If it says funds will be avaliable around the 30th, you should get it around that time, unless tracking shows it was delivered earlier.

one more question if i may ken i checked just now,and it has been marked as returned to sender because apparently the address is undeliverable so it sounds like the package is now coming back to me,the seller will not respond to me,from my research it sounds like as long as its marked delivered somewhere ebay goes ahead and processes the refund is that correct?or will i need to try and send it again and put new tracking into the case?thank you for your time ken
