return label

On 1-2 seller sent me a shipping label for USPS. I bought a damaged bike and took it to USPS they measured the  box and said it was too big. they were unable to mail it.  I  contacted the the seller that USPS will not accept the box. He then offered me $20 and i would keep the bike.   1-7 seller sends me the same shipping label after i told him they will not accept the box.  I went to the help site unable to get the correct answer.   Please Help me     Thanks

Did it ship to you through USPS?

Are you using the same shipping box?

It should go back the same way.

Alternatively, what does it cost to repair the bike? Is that not a solution? The seller needs to know if that's doable.

Otherwise ask eBay for help if the seller doesn't provide the correct return label.

Just @mucons-0 leave a private message here with your name and so on

for eBay at Facebook (or open a throwaway Facebook account)

and tell eBay that you need a proper return label.

I'm unclear on what you are saying. Seller can only send a shipping label, they do not provide a box for a return. How was the bike delivered to you originally? If USPS delivered it to you, why won't they take it back? What type of a bike are you referring to, a bicycle or a motor bike? What type of repair is required? Did you do a local pickup but now want to ship it back? I am asking for these details in order to provide you with the best advice.

The seller is probably issuing the return label through eBay's system @mucons-0. eBay only issues USPS return labels. When your item is too large to meet USPS shipping requirements then the seller needs to provide a return label using another service (UPS or FedEx in most cases).

Send a message to the seller letting them know and if they're uncooperative then go to eBay through Facebook or Twitter and send a DM with your issue. They can force the situation as shown in an above post.
