i have had my ebay account for over 5 years and have made around 11 purchases. last month i spent $3k on a tv on sale, this month i decided i would buy a gaming pc from lenovo ebay the official lenovo seller on ebay. when i got my package i noticed a huge hole in the shipping box and refused to open it immediately opening a return so i can send it back to lenovo. after sending it back it was delivered on the 13th and after 2 days lenovo being slow i asked ebay to step in and they immediately put it on hold and told me to wait 4 days and i did and on the 4th day they banned my account and closed the return saying "you've exceeded the maximum number of eBay Money Back Guarantee cases a buyer can open." now this is the most bull**bleep** email i have ever gotten. i dont have a single return on my account. not one return have i ever made on ebay because i dont usually buy from them. i called lenovo and they confirmed they got the package back and told me to contact ebay because when ebay puts a case on hold they dont let lenovo refund. so ebay scammed me out of $2900 because i dont have my money and i dont get the pc. this **bleep** me off so much i absolutely **bleep** hate ebay. screw this god **bleep** site. had to make a new account btw because everytime i clicked start a conversation the site said denied. how **bleep** weird screw ebay. biggest scammers in my entire life

Go over to ebay for business on Facebook. Those are real ebay employees. Click the send a message button.
Present the facts as simply as possible.

Hopefully Facebook employees make it right if you had no returns, personally I'd of opened the box though. An OEM packaged laptop or desktop should have a cardboard buffer of sorts often 6+ inches on either side. I had a 34" .monitor delivered and the entire corner of the box was ripped away but everything was fine inside, had everything not been fine it wouldn't have changed the return.

I can't see the account where you had too many returns or refunds. But Amazon does the same thing basically. It might be the value of a return or refund also...although you you mention no return...but refunds with no returns. I think I would want to see a TV before I did the purchase price of $3K.

thats the thing. i have 0 returns and 0 refunds because i never returned anything i bought. and the $3k tv i wasnt worried about because i had a 2yr warranty and the delivery guys installed it so i knew there was no problem. but the desktop i couldnt risk. there was 0 reason. they didnt even ask lenovo if they got the package they did no investigation and just closed my account and refused to refund.

Did you pay with a credit card? If yes, you can do a chargeback. Do you have the tracking # provingthat you returned the box ? But before you do that, you need to call ebay again. Ask them to go over your account and tell you exactly what items you returned. If you are not lying to us, then it's a mistake. Maybe there is another account with a similar ID. When you call ebay, ask for a supervisor. If you do not understand their English, hang up and wait an hour or so and call again. Hopefully, you can get it resolved.

i was thinking about charging back through my credit card but wouldnt ebay just steal the $3k out of my bank account which they wouldnt let me remove?
