I Bought a omega watch from watchmaxx. It went to a ebay verification system. upon receiving the package, i opened the package and the outer box of the omega watch was damaged, front opening ripped, corners dented and yellow stain inside the box, called watchmaxx and told me to return the package. I requested a a return on ebay. Then got an email from watchmaxx to take a picture of the shipping bar so they can make a claim with the shipper... Sent them the picture of the shipping bar,,, And now i get this... "We've placed this case on hold until Jan 6, 2024 to allow time for our authentication partners to inspect the item. After it's verified, they'll send the item to the seller and you'll be refunded." What does that mean? I haven't shipped the watch to nowhere...

That whole program has been a mess since day one. Is the watch ok? If so, they might not cover the box. They might send you a label to return it with. Their stock letter replies never do match up with the facts. If there is no damage to the outer box, it would not have been the shipper that caused it.
