What is best courrier service for a return from Usa to Cyprus that will have shipping labels

Hello Everybody and Hope everyone is well.

 

I just sold an item that was really good and Like new condition , 35 years old and buyer for some reasons that  i dont like to discuss because i dont believe ......... want to return ,.... so im in Cyprus and buyer is in Usa.

Case is on ebay BUT i want to be prepared, so 

1) Box when i sent was  1kg charged   i paid around 55eu ,,, can you people help me to tell me what service to use for pick up from Usa and ship to Cyprus/Europe  by air courrier  ... can be even 3-10 days service but not more with good shipping offers @ a service that can also print shipping label because ebay is asking for that....

I assume that this is a Money Back Guarantee claim, and the buyer is saying that the item received is different than what is described.  Because of this, you are responsible for paying for and providing a return label, assuming that you want to get the package back.

 

There are on-line postage sellers that can provide a label for you.  One that I use is pirateship.com ... create an account, put in the package information, and purchase a shipping label for the shipping service you desire.  The purchased label can be downloaded in a PDF format, and you would then attach that PDF file to the eBay return for the buyer to print and use. 

 

Below is an example of the prices and options you might expect for a 12x12x6 package weighing 3 pounds:

Yes that exactly is how you describe it about return.. and Thats great shipping news  , Thanks a lot ..

 

The other problem that i face now is that buyer is not replying to my messages to send me weight and correct dimensions...

When i send package i went to DHL and they measure it(volume) and weight it and I was charged for 1kg But i dont know the exact dimensions or weight  ... and this is delaying me now. .. what i should do?

 

Also case is on ebay right now and on hold , waiting for decision,

Use the weight and dimensions of your original package.  If some measurement is different on the actual package that is shipped, then the shipping carrier will make a cost adjustment.

I assume this means that the buyer has escalated the original claim, because you have not responded in a timely manner.  If you continue to not provide the return label, then eBay will force a refund without requiring the buyer to return the item.

 

Also, if (for whatever reason) the buyer does not use the return label, you can request a refund.

I will write something that happen To me on  ebay and i am really dissapointed that ebay took 90% the buyer side and ignore me completely  as a seller ! and why ebay dont step in private to talk to buyers and sellers? or help situations!!

 

HOW I CAN TRUST TO SELL SOMETHING REALLY EXPENSIVE IF I GET  a final ANSWER FROM EBAY that I lost case FULL REFUND  with out to know the reason or to  be able to reply @ I M NOT ASKING TO BE A COURT BUT OFFCOURSE ebay CAN STEP IN both sides AND MAKE THINGS EASIER.

Answer from ebay was with out any explanation and completely ignorance to me, i will try to explain and i wish someone from ebay to answer,because i sold something and i NEED IT BACK and buyer dont answer any messages to me since i ask ebay to step in, even if he got a full refund .

 

Dear Friends Dear Ebay and Dear Everybody ...,

 

I start selling on ebay around a Year ago and I m really very ownest person on my transactions, I sold enough items and  many people dont leave feedback so my account looks only 10-14 items , now my BIG dissapointment  is only for 1 item that i sold  BUT WAS NOT CHEAP and seller kept it ALSO - I will explain what happen  , was some binoculars very good brand and vintage pc around 35 Years old  with case , kept well like new for so many years , I had them a high price because is a unique pc , I post  so many clear photos  and video and I said for any question please ask i will answer everything , so this person/buyer bought them and I was late one day to ship because i pause the ebay sales for Eastern celebration here in My country and I forgot to renew for some more days so I was late one day to ship that order, I said sorry and i said for buyer if he want to cancel the order was no problem( because I was late 1 day )  he said no so i continue , I paid close to 55eu Dhl fast shipping , so the customer got them and after few days I get a complain that have some faults and cannot focus and some other technical terms (as if he was a technician specialist for binoculars ) and that is not how i describe ( for me all this was untrue and false) and that he want to return item back  etc etc ... so i thought to finish the problem and not to argue to offer 50usd , he didnt agree because he said that repair will be around 200-250usd ( again he calculate like a proper technician ) and time etc etc , believe me binoculars was so good with no problem ,,, anyways .. i said i will offer 115usd because to send back it costs more and is hassle and to make happy all 3 of us ... he didnt want  , he offered me to pay the 35usd that was the amount that I charge for shipping BUT after he said that ebay dont accept it that I DONT THINK HE DIDNT KNOW THAT BECAUSE HE `WAS ON OLD EBAYER `/ SO DEAR EBAY - YOU LET HIM TAKE FULL REFUND IS ALL  FINE @!!and lets say Dear ebay I will accept the return  and what ever @I HAVE BEEN SENDING AND REPORTING ALL THE TIME THAT THE BUYER IS NOT ANSWERING MY EMAILS FOR THE RETURN ITEMS TO INFORM ME THE DIMENSIONS AND VOLUME AND MAYBE TIME PICK UP OR ANY OTHER INFO THAT I NEED FOR RETURN SO I CAN ASK FOR AN OFFER AND SHIPPING LABEL  ...OK? RETRUN SHIPPING TO MY COUNTRY IS REALLY VERY EXPENSIVE AND I CANNOT ESTIMATE THE WEIGHT OR VOLUME AND THEN TO PAY 500EU BECAUSE I DIDNT SHOW THEM THE CORRECT DIMENSIONS @ WHY YOU AS EBAY AFTER SO MANY EMAILS AND REPORT I SENT YOU CANNOT CONTACT WITH HIM AND ask him 1) WHY HE DONT SEND M ETHE SHIPPING INFO ? 2) WHY HE DONT REPLY TO ME? 

 

This is really annoying me because I feel like I was cheated and cannot do anything and ebay also is not doing anything on my side to be FAIR AT LEAST.

Three lessons:

 

1)  The buyer does not have to respond to ANY questions about the return.

2) If you want the item returned, you MUST send a return label to the customer.  If your weight/dimensions are incorrect, then the company issuing the postage label will bill you (or credit you) with the difference.

3) If you do not send a return label to the customer, and the customer escalates the return to eBay, then eBay will look at your listing that says "No returns", and assume you don't want it back ... they refund the customer, they do not require the item back, you also lose the eBay fees you paid, and you get a nasty seller defect.

 

^^ This is how eBay works.

 

Now, you can still send a return label to the customer, politely asking him to return it.  If the customer does not use the shipping label, then you can void the shipping label, and get refunded the money you paid for the shipping label.  (There is a deadline on how long you have to void the shipping label).

IN MY COUNTRY IF BOX IS LITTLE BIGGER THAN THE EXACT SIZE I MIGHT PAY 500 USD FOR SHIPPING .... THATS WHY I INSIST TO SEND ME DIMENSIONS.... AND I TRY TO FIND OUT EXACT SIZE AND WEIGHT AND FOR NO OTHER REASON , WE ARE AN ISLAND HERE IN EUROPE AND COSTS FOR SHIPPING IS VERY HIGH.

I SEND SO MANY REPORTS FOR THE BUYER + I MAKE ALL COMPLAINS + I SEND SO MENAY EMAILS TO CONCIERGE OF EBAY AND I GET SO MANY REPLIES AND THEY ARE STILL SAYING TO SEND SHIPPING LABELS AND AGAIN I COMPLAIN THAT I CANNOT SEND BECAUSE BUYER NOT REPLY ETC ETC

eBay does not require the buyer to respond.  Sellers must respond, but buyers do not need to.  That's the eBay rules.  As sellers, we do not get to create rules ... we follow the rules of eBay.    And, once the refund is completed, the transaction is completed.

Then you have to make a decision as to whether or not it is worth the risk of $500 to receive the return.  Since you did not provide a return label, you apparently do not want to risk the $500 charge.

It is not difficult.  But, you have an expectation that is not consistent with eBay rules.  If you are going to sell on eBay, you need to learn the selling rules and follow them.  In this case, the rule is clear and simple:  you MUST send a return shipping label if you want the item back.

Perhaps it is because you are not listening.  Why do they need to say the same thing over and over and over?

 

You were given guidance both by me and by eBay.  Your blockade is that you want eBay and the buyer to follow rules you are making up, and you refuse to follow eBay rules.  This is why you are suffering.  It is your fault ... not the buyer's, and not eBay's.
