Hi, my tranaction was cancelled by ebay but money was deducted from my debit card. The Seller didnt receive my money so do I. No money returned to my card. So ebay agents commonly can not explain to me what to do and my account was suspended. Ebay tell me what should I do? Looks like criminal from your side.

1. When you post here, you're not addressing eBay or its employees. These Boards are made up of fellow buyers and sellers who volunteer their time here to help others when we can.
2. Since we have no access to your account information, our advice will be based on what you share with us. You have not told us much. Have a feeling there's a bit more to this story.

Although your payment was taken immediately when you purchased, refunds are not instant, it depends on the bank associated with your debit card account how refunds are processed. Contact your bank.

My story is like this:
I paid for an item and money was deducted from my debit card immediately (successful transaction). But next day I received an email that my account was suspended due to "never explained why properly." My card was verified as a payment method so what was the issue I still do not know. So as far as my account was suspended I cannot send any messages to Seller and I have no idea whether my money will return or not because ebay agents are just robots and never respond to exact question.
If anyone faced the same situation before what was the result of it? Please share if any. Thank you.

I don't mean to pry, but generally this kind of suspension centers around fraud or suspected fraud. You need to contact your bank, and what account are you talking about? As a BUYER on Ebay you don't physically need any kind of account?? Are you a seller as well??? If EBAY suspends you as a BUYER, they are not suspending any accounts. BUYERS do not have accounts? They simply buy a product from Ebay using some kind of financial purchasing system. (e.g. usually a credit card or a visa/or Mastercard DEBIT card or via a Bank Account linked to Paypal, or afterpay etc) You cannot buy anything online using a stand-alone DEBIT CARD. It has to be linked to another type of payment portal, such as visa or mastercard.

I hope this clears things up.........If you're a BUYER on Ebay, you are a MEMBER, if your a SELLER on Ebay you have an active SELLERS ACCOUNT. Which are you?

Working within accounts for a while, I do KNOW that banks/financial institutions can raise a red flag, in regards online financial transactions, if they believe the transaction is fraudulent and or criminal in nature. What happens here is the card or account that is used to complete the transaction, is frozen and the Organisation that the transaction went through, (in this case Ebay) advised of this " possible" fraudulent" transaction usually by another financial authority (for instance it might be the taxation department, ATO/IRS, Federal Police, Polizei, INTERPOL, Forensic Financial crime unit etc, FBI, or a major bank, building society or credit union) Something has to have been triggered in the online system for this to have occurred. It is not normal practice, to automatically freeze or block someone's account or access (regardless of whether they are a buyer or seller) for a "supposed" simple, financial transaction. Generally, if there is insufficient funds, or a card is expired for example) the transaction will simply be declined. Look I am not trying to be the purveyor of doom and gloom here, but if YOU'RE not responsible, get some immediate legal advice, etc, (just to keep yourself safe) if YOU are up to SHONKY BUSINESS, you will eventually get caught- every action has a reaction.

I think there is a "lot" more going on here, than a simple transaction, that cannot be explained.🙁

Just because your card was verified as an acceptable payment method, does not mean that the transaction you instigated, was in itself, legal and valid. Having a message that the payment method is verified, simply means that it is a form of payment that Ebay allows (e.g. Visa Debit card for instance) Clearly it was not, once you attempted to USE that payment method to purchase a product through Ebay. Therein lies the situation. As my (late) Mother used to say to me, " Don't piddle on my leg and then tell me its raining!" I'd love to dive deeper into what you "might" actually be up to........"

Hard to say, international sales can be subject to a lot of different restrictions and I can't even guess if they can work with your payment processor. If you don't see your refund within a week or 2 I would talk to the bank and see if they can help you.

"... my account was suspended due to "never explained why properly."
I've never seen that ^^^ message from eBay. You say that you received an "email"... was there a message from eBay?
Explained... an 'email' could be a phishing scam. Only rely on messages sent to you through the eBay system.

What did the email/message from Ebay say about canceling the order or about your account being suspended?
