Experts,
I have a case where a camera I sold needs a shutter repair. I talked to the buyer and told him I would send him a pre-paid return label. [I'm confident I can fix this easily and return it to him working. He would send me only the shutter, not the whole camera.]
I would like to keep this as simple as possible for the buyer, who is a newbie to eBay. I went to the "returns" page and (since the buyer has not requested a return) I could not see how to do this.
Any help or suggestions appreciated!
Mike

Buy your label here. It's okay if the sender and recipient are your own address, because coming or going it's being sent to you. But be sure the Ships From zip code is the buyer, to calculate the postage correctly.
The result is a PDF file, which you can either save directly to email as an attachment @argy_eyes or convert to an image to send via eBay Messages
After a transaction is paid, eBay no longer blocks email addresses, phone numbers, etc. So you can ask your buyer for their email address via eBay Messages to send the PDF file in email.

Thanks BB for your very complete and informed answer. The link and the information about eBay not blocking email addresses after the sale are essential for what I need to do.
I did phone the buyer (in Canada) and we had a productive conversation about the repair. Now I just have to get his email and send the label.

For USA buying a label for Canada or vice versa, goShippo.com can help. Or just Friends & Family the cash via PayPal to cover the return postage.

Thanks @bebe-1153 . I went to FedEx.com. Took me 45 minutes to fill out their forms. Mike
