Send multiple return labels for one return request

We are currently selling monitors on our eBay page, and are allowing buyers to purchase multiple monitors at once. We do not offer any kind of combined shipping, as the items must all be sent in separate boxes to avoid damage to their screens.

We recently received a return request from a buyer wishing to return 2 monitors at once, as one item was damaged by the carrier, and the other "has a low resolution" (I believe they just didn't want the items in the first place, as all monitors of this model have the same resolution). However, we are more than willing to accept such a return case. However, we have found it impossible to send back a multi-package return label to the buyer.  We instructed the buyer to merely send us back the working monitor in hopes that we can recover some of the losses on this order, but are otherwise stumped by such a simple oversight on eBay's part.

Is there some option we missed, or did eBay really exclude such a simple and essential part of return shipping?

When you click to Accept the return @unitedelectronicrecycling you can either

1. have eBay issue the single USPS Return Service label,

2. upload a PDF of your own labels one of which is the master tracking number, or

3. enter the carrier and tracking number of your return label already enclosed with the original shipment.

A better method is to enable RMA so that when a buyer starts a return the process is paused for 2 days for you to either refund no return needed or arrange return shipping, for example to ask the buyer for their email address (eBay allows this after the transaction has been paid) to send the labels as an email attachment.

We have no bahamas today.

Totally understand your dilemma.  Returns for multi item purchases can be a pain.

Two years ago I had one buyer purchase 12 different items.  I packaged them all in one large box and shipped.  After receiving them she messaged me that her young child had made the purchase unbeknownst to her and she wanted to return them all.  eBay sent her 12 separate labels, one for each item at my expense.  The original Priority mail shipping cost me about $18.  The returns cost me over $60.

A conversation with an eBay staff member regarding my account did get me a partial credit for the return shipping cost.

Hopefully eBay has rectified the multi purchase / multi return issues.

Perhaps posting on the eBay for Business Facebook page will help resolve your problem.

Best wishes!

So basically they are missing this simple, but essential feature. Ok, at least I know how to handle cases like this in the future. Thank you for the advice.
