Seller refusing to send return label

Hello, so I just purchased something on ebay and it did not fit the description. They have understood and accepted my request. But then they are not sending me the return label which they are entitled to. If the seller does not send a return label and I'm not able to ship the item, by the return date, how do I get my money back?

Was your "request" to open an official Return? If it wasn't... then do that. Sellers understand those. Good luck.

What was the reason you checked off for the return?

Is the seller in the same country?

Yes I did send a request and they "accepted", but they have gone without contact for a week and have not provided a shipping label

I checked the return of for "not matching the description" or something along those lines. The seller is not in the same country. The listing said the item was from Japan, but the return address they gave me was Argentina which is a little fishy. They have yet to send a label for a week.

eBay doesn't have a return label they offer for international returns.  If the seller doesn't have their own way to send a return label (which they likely don't) they would need to send they money to cover the return costs.  You would need to let them know how much it would cost to return with tracking to the return address in the return request.  You can ask them to send those funds to a payment source you have.

Thank you for the helpful response. What would happen if the seller goes no contact and I do not receive any more messages from them. Even when asking to send me money for the return label? How can I guarantee my money back?

You've tried long enough @poketrend0 to get the seller to respond. eBay gives sellers 2 business days to provide a prepaid return label or send cash to pay for return shipping after they click to Accept the return. 

Now just leave a PRIVATE message here for eBay, to tell eBay that you still don't have that prepaid return label, and let eBay sort out Argentina vs Japan, etc.

If you show you gave the information to get the refund costs when you escalate to eBay for a decision they will generally refund without requiring a return.
