25 years buying and selling on ebay, I've never returned anything and hardly ever
get any as a seller.
Bought my daughter a concert T-shirt from what eventually appeared to be a Chinese drop shipper. They were fairly new on ebay as a seller and location was indicated as Kentucky.
Waited about 4 weeks and received it past the due date. Ordered a Small and got an XL
Filed return. No response till this AM "The seller declined the return request"
What now? How does this end?
No communication between the buyer and myself. She went NARU while I was waiting for the shirt.

If your return on eBay was denied it was probably because the seller doesn't accept returns and can deny for buyers remorse if the return was opened as doesn't fit.
But since the return was denied you have no further recourse through eBay and will need to file a chargeback through your credit card or PayPal.

Since you are stuck with the shirt, perhaps you can re-sell it?

Diva
How does a size XL sent to me instead of a Small as ordered,
become a "Remorse" return?

Was there a reason why you did not file a INAD (item not as described) return?

1) Brain cramp
2) Inexperience with returns
3) Biden
4) Trump
5) All of the above

The difference is the type of claim you opened. You should have opened an Item Not As Described case, but it sounds like you opened the return as Doesn’t Fit. Doesn’t Fit is not covered by the money back guarantee, so the seller could decline it. This is so buyers who order a medium and receive a medium can’t return, possibly even because they just didn’t like it and decided to return. But when you order one size and receive a totally different size, that’s not “doesn’t fit”, it’s not as described.

If the return was for doesn't fit...that is a remorse return.
You're a seller how do you not know this?

Diva, 50,000+ sales on eBay in 25 years and
I've had maybe 5 returns. I just don't get them.
I simply had no experience doing returns
as a buyer or a seller.
Now I know.

same here, I can count on one hand the returns I’ve had in 25 years as both a buyer and seller. But I’ve been on these boards for over 15 years, so Ive kept up with the policy changes. It’s a good idea to hang out here as much as possible, since it’s otherwise difficult to keep up with everything you need to know from both a seller and buyer standpoint.
