Returning a return

Hello, looking for some advice.

I recently sold an underfloor heating controller. Buyer received it and installed it.

I was told the unit would not power up so he requested a return I accepted it and the item was posted back to me.

On receiving the unit I attempted to power it up and found it to be in a working order.

We had a discussion and found he had removed a wire link that was required to make it work.

He has agreed to take it back as it had been modified during installation making it not suitable for me to resell.

Can someone please tell me the best way to sent it back to him and cancel the returns process?

Many Thanks

Re: Returning a return

You would have to ship it back to the buyer and they would have to close the return within two days.

You only have two days to refund the buyer, or Ebay will.

Since you got it back , refund the buyer, then you can report them for abusing the MBG.

Have A Great Day.

Re: Returning a return

Too risky. You could end up without the item and still have to refund.  I would not try to do that.

Re: Returning a return

If you found that it was in working order how was it missing anything that was required to make it work?

Re: Returning a return

Complete the refund process. Get your Final Value Fees back in the process.

Resell the item.
