I was told by ebay to file report against buyer for return.  He walked me through how to do it. Said I do nothing Ebay will Handle it.  Wake up this morning to asking me why I haven't refunded the money and if I don't ebay will. I'm so confused I was told I wouldn't have to refund.

I don't know who told you that but if you are the seller who has a return, issue the return label, when you receive the item back then YOU refund.

Do NOT allow eBay to handle it for you because it won't be handled in your favor. eBay will allow the buyer to keep the item and refund the buyer from your funds while also giving you a defect for not handling your returns yourself.

Overseas call center CSRs only want you off the phone as quick as possible and will tell any old fib in order to get rid of you.

You will want to brush up on ebay policy especially the MBG.

You will want to take of the return ASAP or ebay will refund with your money, let the buyer keep the item and give you an unresolved ding. You most likely do not want any of those 3.
