I'm so confused and want to cry what do I do?

I bought an item but because of storms and disasters the seller issued the refund.

I'm speaking with the seller, but I can't understand why they issued me a full refund but never received a payment. What's a woman to do when I have ADHD and get to confused and frustrated when trying to understand Ebay money back refunds... should I wait even longer? It's been a month waiting for the item and I just received news now that I'd get a refund, but I don't have anything to show for it. My partner's not going to be so happy.

Are you sure you were charged for it?  How did you pay ?   When you pull up the item under purchases, what does it say?

We need that info to advise you.

If a refund was issued, it could be a few days or a few weeks before you receive it, depending on how you paid.

If you paid by cc, it can take one billing cycle before you see the refund. If the seller canceled the transaction, the refund is automatic back to the payment source.

They can't issue you a refund if you never paid.

There is nothing to do here.
