Return expanded mattress in a box

I purchased a memory foam mattress in which the seller sent the wrong size mattress. The problem I'm facing is that I didn't find out until after I took the mattress out of the box and let it expand a little. Now I can't get it back into its original box. I requested a return but I'm not sure on how to return the mattress, if I can anyway.

You may have to cut up a box or boxes and wrap it in that.   As advised, see what the seller says. They might not want to pay it's return anyway.
