Return closed STILL haven’t gotten paid

I sold a Dyson airwrap that was brand new. The buyer wanted to return the item because she claims it was defective. However, she didn’t know how to use it. She FINALLY watched a YouTube video and admitted she was wrong, the item was in fact fine, and then she cancelled the return. 

A week later, I still have not gotten paid. As you can imagine, it was a high ticket item. Why haven’t I gotten paid yet despite the return being closed and my selling tab stating that these funds that were on hold have been released?

Why does the buyer have the item if you have not yet been paid?

I assume that eBay stated OK to ship, then you shipped?

We are unable to see why your funds would be held so I can't offer much help.

There are numerous reasons eBay put holds on funds. Read about it here:

In your case it could be a combination of factors from the value of the item, to the risk the buyer might file a payment dispute, to your new/occasional seller status.

You'll get the payout eventually.

She received the item and then a day later put in a return request saying that the item was broken. It isn’t broken - she doesn’t know how to use it. After she finally realized she was wrong and that the item was not broken, she cancelled the return request on her and end gave me positive feedback. So she did not ship the item back to me because she closed the return but EBay still hasn’t paid me.

She won the auction for the item, paid for the item, and then I shipped it. The day after she receive it, she put in a return request because she thought it was broken (she didn’t know how to use it). After going to a Dyson store AND watching tutorials, she realized she was wrong and cancelled the return on her end. However, the funds were on hold and although they were released, I still haven’t been paid.

New sellers, or established sellers who have not sold in awhile will sometimes have their funds held.

So when funds are put on hold and then the claim is closed.

Those funds on hold go back to like you just received funds from a purchase in "processing"...which can be at least 3 business days to receive this funds.

So, Saturday and Sunday are not business days. Funds should be released any day now. And it also depends what day you picked to get pay.

Might want to try for "Express Payouts" which would be quicker.
