Return Shipping Label

I bought a pair of shoes a few weeks ago that turned out to be fake. I opened a case against the seller and the seller never responded to eBay so the case was decided in my favor (through the Money Back Guarantee). I already received my refund but I am unsure if I need to send the item back. The seller does not accept returns and I was never sent a return shipping label by eBay. But on the order it says, "Send Item Back By January 31st 2022" with no links to a return label or contacting eBay. So far, I have not found a way to contact eBay about this issue and I don't want to risk losing my refund because I didn't send the shoes back.

Re: Return Shipping Label

@quinlimaxwel0 Sellers have the option to send a return label if they want the item returned, or they can just leave it be knowing the buyer will be refunded without return. Not everyone wants the item returned, and not every seller is willing to pay a second time for shipping. You can keep the shoes and donate or get rid of them however you see fit. You will not lose the refund again. No one can expect you to return a fake pair of shoes at your own expense when purchasing online. You handled this well and followed policy. Best of luck to you....

Re: Return Shipping Label

If you've been refunded because the seller didn't respond, you're done.

Edit to add: if the shoes are fakes, it's best to prominently and permanently deface them to keep them out of circulation.

Re: Return Shipping Label

I appreciate the response and yes I'm planning on throwing them away. I would donate them but I don't really want someone who doesn't know much about shoes getting them and thinking they're authentic.
