Return Scam

Completely stop talking to the seller @mrggp61 and simply leave a private message here for eBay on Facebook.

Tell eBay that the label with [tracking number] has already been used and reused since March, and that you need a real return label. eBay will put your case on hold for 5 days, and if you don't get the label, eBay will force the refund with no return required.

Re: Return Scam

Ok wow, they are telling me to just use the label and do they normally sign into your account?

Yes, that is the actual eBay Customer Support, and they look at you account once they've confirmed your identity.

But ask eBay on Facebook to look up the 9200... tracking number on the label https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?tLabels=9200190328157536666100 and notice

1. It has already been scanned twice today, and

2. it began moving beginning on Mar 17, 2023,

3. so it's not a valid label to use for return.

Re: Return Scam

I did and they told me to message the seller again to get a new label again. I have done that and now I'm waiting. I'm probably going to have to wait and ask Ebay to step in. I really hope this can get resolved and I can get my refund.

Re: Return Scam

I don't understand the issue.

Just because their actual return address is in China, that doesn't mean they can't provide a return location closer to your location to save on shipping.

Using a label in messages doesn't stop you from getting refunded. All you have to do after the item is delivered is message eBay customer support and show them that the label was sent via messages (they can see the seller gave you it) and will refund once it shows 'Delivered'.

The fact the label has been used is a little more concerning, but it means more that you don't have to return and get a free item.

Re: Return Scam

Ok thank you, I just really wanted to be sure before I just send them out. I haven't shipped many items before so its all new to me.
