I returned an item promptly because it was the wrong item. I am waiting for a refund. The item is awaiting pick up by the seller according to the tracking, possibly in a P.O. Box? How long should I patiently wait? 4 days now waiting for pick up.

Good question, if the seller never picks it up, what does eBay do? I'd try contacting someone in eBay CS.
