I received a defective item. I reached out to seller. The auction did say no returns.
Ebay has closed the return order
and can’t figure out how to talk to someone regarding a defective part when listing said “everything’s working”

So, you opened a Return request? What reason did you cite for the Return? And how long ago did you receive the item?

ALL eBay buyers, as well as sellers, need to read the Money Back Guarantee for buyers, preferably BEFORE doing any selling or buying on eBay.
If you received a defective item, did you open an item not as described case, yes or no?
If you did, did you return to that case and ask eBay to step in? You could have done that in 96 hours and eBay would have REQUIRED the seller to send you a prepaid return label and refund you upon return. You had just 30 days after delivery to open a case with eBay.
How about returning and giving us the entire story of what happened? Under the MBG, the seller cannot refuse the return.

You have to now file with your payment service. I take it you did NOT file an item not as described case? The correct one to file. If you paid by credit card, and I hope so. Call your card company.
