I purchased what was supposed to be a 'branded' item. Received a 'generic' item. Seller would not accept return and denied there was any problem. Filed a claim with ebay. ebay sided with me and said they would issue a refund when the product was returned to the seller. Using a label provided by ebay, I shipped the item back to the seller.
Today the USPS tracking info states: "Your item was returned to the sender at 8:28 am on May 8, 2024 in XXXXX because the forwarding order for this address is no longer valid."
So now the item is headed back to me. Has anyone seen this type of thing before.

Some sellers will provide a bad return address thinking that if the item isn't returned, they won't have to refund.
When the package is returned to you and tracking shows it was delivered, you'll get your refund.
