Recently I have ordered headphones and received counterfeit product. I am thinking about opening case with PayPal. I came across this while surfing on PayPal's website - "If a seller loses a Significantly Not as Described claim due to the item sold being counterfeit, the seller will be required to provide a full refund to the buyer and you will not receive the item back" . Does it mean that if I will be able to prove that I have received counterfeit item with photo/video there will be no need to send it back to the seller? Did I get it right? I also read that some countries is not allowing to ship counterfeit items. Please, help!

Always start with Ebay first.
Go to the resolution center below and select, the item doesn't match the description.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

So you are trying to get a free product by trying to find a way not to send it back? Why?? Send the item back and try not to score free items.

Why would someone will try to find a way to keep 5$ fake headphones?? I do not need them. I just live outside US and it is very expensive (50$-90$) to send package from my country. Why I have to spend that much money just because of the random scammer? I am not talking about the fact that for some companies during pandemic it may take up to 2-3 month to ship a package. Also, most of the companies refuse to ship fake items so it means I have to lie to them in order to ship it back. Now you see the root of the problem???

As explained above, if you file with ebay first, the seller will need to send you a return label, and if they can't, the money to return it. Or they can just refund you.
By going to paypal first, you lose the ability to file with ebay. Going to paypal should be 2nd.
