Offered partial refund for a return but buyer did not response

Hello to all,

Buyer opened a return request. I had offered half price for refund without returning product. Seller had not responded yet. I am worried that buyer can claim an unresolved issue. To be honest, I am ready for full refund without return because it was a cheap product and I dont want my seller metrics to be affected. 

Can buyer claim an unresolved issue whilst my offer is still active. Will I be able to fully refund or send return label to buyer because I can not edit or send anything while my partial refund is still active?

You need to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund the buyer before they can ask Ebay to step in, which is 3 days.

Dropshipping from Amazon is not allowed and could get you suspended.

I have been there before as well. Once you offer that partial refund thru the return case,  it puts the return case in limbo until the buyer responds. And yes, the buyer can come back and refuse the partial refund and in the next instant, have eBay step in and refund.

Are you handcuffed to the point that you can't just issue a full refund now? That way, no hit to your Seller Metrics...

I did not know that I could not change my decision or do nothing after I clicked partial refund. Why should I immediately refund total value for a decent order? I am going on a vacation and I will not have time to deal with this return that's why I want to refund full amount now.

Thank you for your comment. I am trying to contact buyer. I told her that I am ready for full refund but she must decline my first offer. I hope in case of Ebay steps in , Ebay considers my effort to make this right..
