I received some car parts august 15-17 2023.
When I tried them, they did not fit so I started a return.
This was July 10, 2023. The message I received from the eBay site was it is too early to start a return and that i have to wait until sept 26 or so.
Now I am still trying to return but now the messages say the Return window is closed.
There is no way to get through to eBay to initiate their so-called money back guarantee.
If anyone has had a similar case, please let me and everyone else know. I am now stuck with car parts that do not fit my vehicle because the seller advertised incorrectly and ebay is not allowing me to return them.

I think you're confused.
if you received the parts in August, how did you try to return them in July?

Hello Albertabrightalberta,
That was a typo, thanks for pointing that out. I tried to return them in early September.
Ebay said I have to wait until Sept 26.
I have the screen shots but if someone at Ebay would just check their website they could see when i tried to return them.
Anyway, seems i am out over 500 dollars because the seller is not checking what he/she is sending at it seems Ebay is also not checking. This seller's description of the part is incorrect, and it will probably just stay that way and future customers will run into the same problem I have.
Thanks for your time.
I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Jim

Look on the item purchased. It will say "estimated delivery day" . You should be able to open a claim after that date and not before. So I am guessing it should work on September 27th.
