Not Able to Return Defective Item

Bought a NWOT item, received with holes all over it, started return request a few days ago. Got a message asking me to send the item back for a refund with link to print return label. Click the link, there's no return shipping label. It says some techinical issue or something, and asks me to try later. Tried several time, there's no return shipping lable. 

Tried chat, no help. AI just keeps sending me back to the return status - print return label - NO label. No option of asking eBay to call back (it says closed). Anyone has any idea?

That's really not the point, the point is this is a repeated issue. Somehow, after some research, I think I have figured it out. The reason for eBay not able to generate a return shipping label is because the seller provided an invalid/incomplete return shipping address.

I was tired of trying to get a FREE return shipping label printed, so I decided to print it on my own and I will eat the cost of return shipping, and of course I was not able to do so because no carrier would accept an invalid or incomplete address. So, that all make sense now. I contacted the seller and asked for a valid or complete address, waiting to hear from her.
