Need immediate clarification please

A buyer has opened the return case due to the reason item not as described. So I negotiated with him and agreed to offer a partial refund. So I offered a refund as agreed. E Bay informed me the following text soon after partial refund as below.

If the Buyer accepts, we'll send them the offered amount’

Status- Waiting for buyer to approve partial refund

Buyer has still not accepted the offer which he already agreed.

Please advise me as to what should be my next step since I have to close the case before 28th of July. Can e bay mark a DEFECT on my account? Or am I to refund in full to avoid defect? Or am I to wait further.

The buyer of you can stall the return request until the July of 28th. Any the time then date until, accept partial will refund and case the close.

 

But buyer if decline refund partial, then return request will revert all over to the other options, accept the return, full refund no return required, message send the buyer, or ask E Bay to step inside to earn a defect plus force a full refund.
