Lost return?

Mailed out my return on May 15 Used provided shipping label), tracking still shows "USPS awaiting item" Must be returned by May 29th. What happens if the USPS drops the ball on me?

If tracking shows that you didn't ship it then the case will close and you wont get a refund. If tracking shows that it was at least dropped off at the post office then you will get a refund. You could go back to the post office you shipped it from, provide them the tracking and ask them to trace it.

If case closes without the item showing up in USPS and it shows up after you may be able to get eBay to look at the case again.

If a seller ships a package and tracking doesn't show a scan as 'delivered'...it's not delivered.

If a buyer returns an item I assume it's the same scenario...but not always really sure.

If you just had it pick -upped of item or just placed it on a counter...it's possible a scan might not show up on the 29th...maybe after or not at all.

It's not a USPS problem...it's the way it was mailed out.
