Hello,
I hopefully will get help at least from community.
Few month ago i sold the Cartier Item on Ebay, in the beginning customer seemed suspicious ( after sale different account reached me out telling me to change the shipping address) i right away cancelled the order.
After she reached me out begging for the item and telling me that it was not her account. I right away informed Ebay and told them the story, they assured me that as a seller i am protected and i can sell the item.
After few Month customer reached me out telling me the item is not Authentic ( Item was with original packaging, certificate and also Authenticity Guarantee from LEGIT Check) and she wanted to return it.
I was fine with return, even tough item was original. Long story short, instead of returning item she opened case with her bank. After few month i was charged, for the item and received just bracelet without any packaging, certificate and etc.
Now i own Ebay and i have half item on my hand. Paypal is saying that it is not their case and case was opened by Chase bank.
Ebay is saying that they did their best but cant protect me as a seller.
Customer is not returning the packaging and the certificate and etc. plus in the beginning after she was refunded she was saying she gave away the bracelet.
Can anyone suggest me what to do? Why i have to pay money for the item which is not in the same condition as it was.
Please note i have a video evidence how i packed and sent the bracelet and how i received it....
Thank You

Unfortunately nobody will even consider looking at your video, noone. Never believe eBay, they lie to get you off the phone. Sadly this was a chargeback and sellers rarely win them... Sorry to bring the bad news but there's no recourse to get the rest back and id have what they sent check bc it's either fake or they are using the real ones packaging to sell a fake one as real.
You can try a police report in your county and the buyers but honestly, nothing's coming to come from it. Maybe someone has more advice but my best advice is -
if a buyer is a hassle before a sell, they are more of a hassle after it.
Never sell more than your willing to lose on here. The return policy on here is simply a free for all for scammers, I try not to list anything over $500 and every single time I break my rule I end up regretting it.

Chargeback means you will have to write it off on your taxes.
EBay doesn't make decisions in these cases other than forward information to the bank.

Sorry, there's nothing you can do.
Since they went to their credit card, be lucky you got anything back, most don't.
