I received a refund without returning the item

I received an item that wasn't as described, 

i first  send a message to the seller said that  i would like having refund and returning the item .(not open the case yet)

within hours,  i got a refund ,and then i can't open the return case (it said the seller already gave you a full refund )

so that i can't send it back 

the seller didn't provide any information or replied my message . Does that mean that I'm just supposed to keep the item?

Talk to the seller in a message.

If they wont reply you have your answer.

It can be more expensive to pay for the return shipping than to buy another from his wholesaler.

If you don't want it -- trash cans exist.

Or donate it or give to a friend.
