Sir/Madam: The charger he sent didn't work on model batteries that fit new drill I bought.. he has agreed to accept it as a return but asked me to cancel the return request first. I have no idea how to do that. Correspondence is impossible because when you click reply his messages turn to Chinese language. Can one of you cancel my return of this battery charger so I can get my return? Thanks

Once you cancel the return you have no recourse and you will not get a return label. He can send a return label without you having to cancel the return, or have Ebay give you one, that is the choice he has now, in addition to giving you a refund without return.
Don't let him off the hook or you will be out of luck.

Stop talking to this seller @rnr1000-7 they are scamming you: They can write in English just fine, telling you to cancel the return. You need to get eBay involved, like this:
To do that,
- leave a private message for eBay on Facebook here
- with your full name, email address, and zip code
- and tell eBay that you need a return label.
If you haven't used Facebook, you can open an account just to contact eBay this one time.

Do NOT cancel the return request.
If you do, the seller does not have to accept your return OR give you a refund because you cancelled the return. The seller is trying to scam you.
The seller only has 3 days to accept your return request. If he does not accept the return request within that time frame, you need to ask eBay to step in and resolve the situation for you.
Check your item in your resolution center in 3 days. By then eBay should ask you if the seller has resolved the case or if you need them to step in and help.
Do NOT close the return request until you get your money returned to you.

To the best of my knowledge, a Chinese seller cannot send the buyer a prepaid return label. He has to reimburse the buyer in advance for the cost of returning the item.

There's no need to go to FB.
If the seller doesn't pay the return shipping, just return to the case on day 4 and click the button to have Ebay step in.
