Ok i have absolutely no clue what i am doing nor can i figure out how to post the questions i have so guess ill just ask it here any help would be so much appreciated.
Ok so ebay made a mistake and did not do whats right and did not do what they promised they would so now my selling performance went down because of ebay and the supervisors and the agents not doing there jobs or telling the truth.
So if we all no its not my fault and i did everything right how i was supposed to then how am i being punished like i did something wrong?
Ok a buyer opened a return and we cam to an agreement that i would just send them a partial refund no big deal.
This actually happened with 2 buyers within 3 weeks ok.
Ok me and the buyer came to an agreement so i sent the partial refund over to them.
But it wouldn't work and i got email saying the refund did not go through.
So i call ebay and we spend endless hours trying to make the refund go through because i have been using my same credit card for 5yrs straight with no issues so why are partial refunds not working?
Ok well ebay told me they cant figure out why the partial refund would not work either but they will work on it and ill call back.
So next day they said they were able to send them the partial refund and the supervisor told me we will do whats necessary to make sure it does not go on your selling performance because we no u sent the refund within plenty of time and we no it was our computers or it was on our end why the refund did not send and i was promised this would not go on my selling performance because i did everything right.
Come to find out today they let it go on my selling performance even after i was promised it wouldn't i mean i was assured they no i did everything right and i sent the money on time.
So why am i being punished now for not sending the partial refund or sending it late when i was told that will not happen from a supervisor??
I cant even list any more items on ebay to sell now because they gave me a selling limit because of those 2 partial refunds i was promised would not be an issue.
Is this normal for Ebay to not do what they say they will do?
Is this normal for good honest sellers to be punished dearly for absolutely no reason at all??
And snce ebay has everything i was promised and told recorded why cant ebay do the right thing so i can sell on here agin considering i did absolutely nothing wrong?
Hw do i get a hold of someone that will actually care and help me on ebay so we can fix there mistake?

O and they said the refund wouldn't go through due to there computers on there end thats the only thing they could think of since ive been using my same credit card on ebay for buying seling refunds and all for 5yrs straight with no issues.
I actually told the buyers to open a return so i could send them a partial refund to make them happy WOW what a mistake that was.
After the buyer opened the return i sent the partial refund over with an hour so no way i was late and no way it should effect my selling performance just like the agent told me.
Ebay is the ones that mentioned i have to wait on the phone so they can make sure this wont go on my selling performance since they no i did everything correctly and in time.
They promised me they would take care of it and send whatever they need to to the right department to make sure i wont be penalised for this.
So why did anything they say not happen and im being penalized now?

Is this normal for Ebay to not do what they say they will do?
eBay customer service representatives are off-shore, low-paid, poorly-trained workers who have no power or authority. Most every seller finally realizes that they function mainly as a placebo, saying whatever might calm you down and get you off the phone.
So why am i being punished now for not sending the partial refund or sending it late when i was told that will not happen from a supervisor??
There's only one level of customer service. A "supervisor" is just a different customer service rep who is just as powerless as the first one you spoke with.

eBay has rigid rules for how sellers must respond to issues and treat customers, and if we violate any of those rules then we will be punished. This has nothing to do with honesty, or even what you believe are good solutions, but how well you follow the rules. It takes experience to learn and follow the rules of eBay.
(Many customer service reps do not know the rules, by the way, and they will sometimes give bad guidance).

eBay customer service is not accountable for anything they told you, recorded or not. If they discover a rep gave you bad advice, eBay may provide more training to the customer service rep. It may be hard to swallow, but eBay considers it ONLY our responsibility to know and follow the rules, and they are not responsible for holding our hand while we learn the rules.
Hw do i get a hold of someone that will actually care and help me on ebay so we can fix there mistake?
You might find a higher level of customer service through some of the social media links (e.g., Facebook or Twitter), but some have recently commented that these have become unhelpful.

Customer Service will say anything they need to. They just want you off the phone.
Learned the hard way. But going forward I know to just handle things and most of the time it will be me eating costs. Over all though most ebay customers are cool.
